The OneWorld’s Countdown to Cinco de Mayo 2017 Benefit is for the staff of OneWorld Community Health Centers. All of the money made from this benefit will go to OneWorld’s Baby Boutique. OneWorld’s Baby Boutique is a program that supports women who want early and reliable care during their pregnancy, and they also help by giving these mothers the most important things that a baby needs but the mother’s might not be able to afford. The Baby Boutique provides prenatal classes, and when the mothers-to-be attend, they receive “baby bucks” to spend on baby essentials at the Baby Boutique. Essentially, these mothers are getting paid in free baby items to take free parenting and prenatal classes!
OneWorld’s Cinco de Mayo 2017 Benefit: Details
The Benefit will be on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Benefit will be held at OneWorld’s Historic Livestock Exchange Campus in the northeast parking lot. The ticket prices vary. A single ticket is $30; a single child ticket is $20, multiple tickets range from $100 up to $1000 depending on how many registrants you will have. The One World’s Countdown to Cinco de Mayo will have some fun things including:
- Great live music
- Food from the local restaurants
- Drinks
OneWorld’s Cinco de Mayo Benefit: Donations & Sponsors
If you want to help OneWorld and the amazing work that they do (beyond what your ticket proceeds will do), you can become a sponsor of this event and when you do that it will immediately improve the health of all of these children and also all of their families. They also are asking for people to help by bringing some essential baby items that the families might not be able to afford including:
- Baby outfits that you may have, both boy and girl outfits, sizes ranging from newborn to 9 months.
- Car seat covers, any types.
- Car seat head supports.
- Any brand of diapers sizes ranging from newborn to size 2.
- Baby socks, boy and girl ones, sizes ranging from newborn to 12 months.
- Pacifiers and Binkies sizes from newborn to 12 months.
- Onesies; Sizes Newborn to 12 months.
