Garden of the Zodiac, there are some notable and unusual works of art, especially sculptures. One such example is the Garden of the Zodiac this consist of 22 different bronze sculptured heads that have different sewn seams on their faces that represent the signs of the zodiac. There is also the 6-foot high bronze statue of Chef Boyardee who of course the late Italian restraunter who has become the trademark for the popular can foods brand.
Omaha Cable Company’s Downtown Headquarters
For those who remember the late western legend Roy Rogers beloved horse Trigger the horse can be seen. Well, the stuffed and mounted version of the horse. He can be found in front of the Omaha Cable Company in downtown Omaha right along with Bullett, who was Rogers GermanAs Shepherd.
Other Omaha Landmarks
As for landmarks, those night owls might like the Sapp Bros. Coffee Pot has been hailed as having the world’s largest pot of coffee assured of giving anyone a caffeine rush. The coffee spot is also noted for being the spot of a refurbished water tower. Also, in the Dundee neighborhood, one can find a plaque that commemorates te fact that during World War II a Japanese Balton Bomb hit that spot.
Needless to say that there is more to Omaha, Nebraska then meets the eye. No doubt there are other notable and unusual attractions to find in the city. All a person needs to do is know where to look to have an unusual experience in Omaha, Nebraska.
