In Omaha, you’ve got some options, and one of those teams is the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks hockey team.

Because the games all start at or around 6 p.m., you can turn it into a whole night — get dinner before, grab a coffee after — just spend the whole evening in the city you love! Once you’ve selected the game you’re able to attend, the next step is to make sure you get tickets. Ticket prices vary, but you can check out different options here. You can also contact the box office, which is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It also opens at 3 p.m. for hockey games. So Far, So Good

There have been several noteworthy performances by the Mavericks this season. The most recent was against North Dakota, where the Mavericks swooped in and beat the No. 1 ranked team 6-3. The January 10 game was huge for the team because this was the first time they had beaten a top-ranked team since 2016.
