Le Voltaire is a local restaurant in Omaha that serves up some of the most delicious French cuisines in all of Nebraska. Le Voltaire is named after the French Enlightenment writer, deist, and philosopher. Voltaire is remembered and honored in France as a courageous polemicist who tirelessly fought for civil rights, the right to a fair trial, freedom of religion, and who denounced the hypocrisies and injustices of the ancient régime.
On the Menu
Le Voltaire proudly offers products from all over Nebraska and the Midwest! Since its opening over 20 years ago, Le Voltaire has upheld its reputation for being a fine-dining establishment that grows each and every day. Start your meal with a scrumptious appetizer of escargot, smoked salmon, or a cheese plate. For your main entrée, enjoy a plate of beef burgundy, duck cassoulet, or lamb cheeks. We recommend you try out the mussels. When you’re feasting at La Voltaire, you better make sure you save room for dessert. You can enjoy the sweetness of crème brulée, chocolate mousse, and fresh fruit terrine.
