Experience the all-new 10th generation Honda Civic Sedan, and you will immediately notice the numerous updates for the 2016 model year. There are two new powertrains available as well as the addition of Honda Sensing technologies, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and more.
The New Power Honda Civic Sedan
Both of the engines in the 2016 Civic Sedan are completely new and more fuel efficient and powerful than the previous options. The LX and EX will run on a 2-liter DOHC i-VTEC with 16 valves and 4 cylinders. This engine works with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT and is the most powerful of all base engines ever offered on a Civic. The EX-T, EX-L, and Touring run on the first turbocharged Honda engine for the U.S. market. This 1.5-liter turbocharged 16-valve 4-cylinder has direct injection and works with a CVT.
Honda Civic Sedan Sportier Design
The exterior styling of the Honda Civic is also updated for the 10th generation. The model grows 2 inches in width and 1.2 inches along the wheelbase while dropping 1 inch lower. The exterior is more refined with swept-back body lines, bulging wheel arches, and an aggressive face. You can also get LED exterior lighting, including the standard C-shaped LED taillights that make the sedan stand out, standard LED daytime running lights, and available Honda LED headlights.
Improved Honda Civic Sedan Interior Comforts
The interior of the Civic Sedan also sees upgrades for the 2016 model year, including automatic climate control on all models, an electronic parking brake featuring Brake Hold, and automatic up/down power windows in front.
